Sun provides developers with all the tools they need to create a
professional cross-platform desktop, enterprise, web, and mobile
applications. In addition, Solaris Express Developer Edition provides a
modern desktop environment for Solaris, Java, and Web 2.0 application
development. We'll look at some of the tools and explore the Solaris
development environment. Topics will include Project Indiana
(OpenSolaris binary distribution), Solaris as a Development Platform,
NetBeans & Sun Studio.
Also, AMD will present their new architecture and timeframe for their
Quad Core, named Barcelona. It will propel AMD's server business into
the next generation.
Attend the briefing and you and your guest can enjoy dinner and the
Cincinnati Reds/San Francisco Giants game immediately following the
presentation.
