Thanks guys. We actually are looking at building our own solution for managing our own devices. First step is providing inventory reports for the Configuration Management piece of the ITIL pie. Our requirements engineers are trying to keep the vision for our next product in line with our customers' desire for something that they can potentially integrate with their own ITIL-based systems. Some customers want our product to manage our devices stand-alone though also. I just basically got the "research CMDB" task dropped in my lap today since it came up in our requirements meeting this morning. - Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hester, Robert" <rhester@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thursday, March 1, 2007 12:39 Subject: RE: [cinjug-users] ITIL-based CMDB To: Scott Balmos <sbalmos@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, twcrone@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: users@xxxxxxxxxx > Hi Todd, > > You have probably reviewed MOF, but in case you have not here is > a link > that specifically talks to the CMDB.
