I have the same pros and cons.
I live near Mason so I am biased.
I also am not a big fan of going to UC, especially if the parking is not in the building or Very close ( next building ).
Also, there are various events at UC that make parking more expensive or non-existent.
If there is a meeting that is at the same time as one of those events, people will make the drive and end up parking who knows where.
At the very least, there needs to be some research and notification for each meeting what the parking is expected to be like.

A question to ask is where are people comming from when they attend.
I drive in from Milford, Mason is convient for me,
UC is more of a challenge for me (it may be easier for others though):
2) drive back home afterwords is longer
3) parking (usually costs $$ at UC, and walk time needs to be added to the communte ).
I could be off here, but Mason/ Westchester/ Liberty Township seems to be the
growth area. I would not be surprised to find that many programmers live
That is one of the reason's why many new jobs are in these areas.
1) distance from where people work to meeting.
2) Ease of parking for meeting (include time to get from car to meeting location)
3) distance from meeting to home.
How are people impacted by these 3 factors for UC and Mason?

I guess it depends on what area CinJUG is trying to cover. If the goal is to include as many people as possible in the Greater Cinci
area, then Mason is too far north to accomodate that goal. I think the closer to downtown Cincinnati, the better we are able to reach people from all over KY, OH, and IN. So, in my opinion, UC seems to be the better choice.
