I went to sign up and keep getting a "Timed out" message that comes back instantly. I've started a new session on different computer, different browser and still get it. I've sent a note to their webmaster. Anyone else having this problem?

BTW, when I tried, it was showing 64.

CinJUG actually shows up as having more users than the South Florida JUG, the New England JUG, Dallas JUG and the Denver JUG.

I saw that, so I emailled them and haven't received a response.  Regardless, I will keep watching for any other programs (now that I am aware that such programs exist) and we won't have to rush to build up numbers.

One of the top 25 JUGs only has 75 members, I would hope we're at least on the bubble for the top 50.

Thanks everyone for signing up, and I encourage anyone who has not signed up to do so.  You probably already have a login for the developer site anyway.

Thanks,

Mike

Do they reevalute periodically?

Deadline for Submissions:

Our search for the additional top 25 JUGs will end on June 10th, 2005 Submit your application today!

Not that having members registered isn't a good thing anyway.

Is everyone who's come to a meeting (and signed in) actually on the cinjug mailing list?  I've missed the last meeting or two, but this should be stressed at the beginning AND THE END of each meeting if you seriously want to increase the official membership in Sun's eyes.  (Perhaps MaxTrain can have a kiosk available to get people to sign up right at the meeting.)

As you are member of Cincinnati's Java User's Group could you please take a minute to register with Sun's Java User's Group Registy?

It only takes a minute and it may entitle our group to special offerings from Sun in the future.

For example this month, Ann Arbor's JUG will have a technology evangalist from Sun presenting on Project Peabody and Project Glassfish wich are the open sourcing projects of Java as part of Sun's program for the top 25 JUGs.

Thanks,

Mike
