Attached is an email from last year listing meeting topics that people had wanted discussed. I think we covered quite a few of them, but I'm pretty sure there are quite a few that haven't been. I'm not sure what Web Methods is; presumably it's not referring to the commercial product by that name. Maybe it means Web Services, which I know we've covered before on a couple occasions.

Are these topics still of interest? Are there any new topics that people would like covered? After all, the meetings are meant for the developers on this list -- so feel free to speak up! ;)

Last month we discussed what topics Cinjug members where interested in. Here is a list of some of those topics:

1. XML
2. Best practices
3. Velocity
4. Jxta P2P services
5. Web Start
6. Web Methods
7. Embedded Devices
8. Intro to Java
9. Grid Computing


For this Monday's meeting we plan to touch on #8 (Intro to Java) and #2 (Best practices). I will send another email with the details.


Also, for January we have Chris Judd scheduled to speak about J2ME (#7 Embedded Devices).
