Mid Level Java Engineers - Dayton, OH - 2 Needed

Kforce in Dayton is currently seeking 2 mid level Java engineers with Government experience for our client in Fairborn, OH.  The successful candidates for this position are required to participate in the development of an enterprise wide Web application. Responsibilities include participating in the design, and development of Java code and XML for the successful deployment of a Web service. Individuals that will be considered for this position must be self-motivated and a focused contributor willing to work on customer premises within the WPAFB area. Must be highly motivated individuals who can work with a skilled team of Java Developers. As a developer, the successful candidates must be experienced with common software development life cycle processes, object-oriented design and development, and must be able to communicate effectively and foster strong customer relationships.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Security Clearance: Able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level
Years of Experience: 4+ years of experience with Java, Java Enterprise Edition, and _javascript_
Oracle development skills with excellent SQL, PL/SQL and JDBC programming skills, graphical user interface (GUI) development skills and excellent listening, writing, and thinking skills.
Knowledge of the following infrastructure systems: C, C++, PERL, PHP, Shell Scripting Languages, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and other web based applications.
Familiar with the Internet and networking concepts underlying the above systems (UNIX, SMTP, POP, DNS, etc.)
General knowledge of the following categories of network systems: Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High Availability.
Participates on project teams, doing application analysis, development and modification.
Able to write detailed technical designs using proper English grammar and convey those designs verbally
