Senior Software Developer
Description
Chosen applicant will be maintaining, stabilizing and enhancing, as appropriate, the software and technology systems common to all web applications, including content development platform, rule-base structure evaluative engine and graphical user interface systems and components. This involves software development using Apache, Java, _javascript_, HTML, struts, struts2, SQL, and HTML presentation/client technologies, server development using object oriented programming techniques in Java and interface development using standard web services technologies and XML, XSLT technologies. Other software and components include Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Macromedia/Adobe products, as well as working in or transitioning from Eclipse development environment.
Requirements
Necessary development skills include demonstrable strength and familiarity in one or more of the following technologies:
*Java, _javascript_, html, struts, struts2 application programming skills.
*Object oriented design programming skills.
*XML and XSLT knowledge.
* SQL Database and structures.
*At least 4+ years overall software development experience in complex
interdependent system environments.
*Understanding of and ability to develop in Java and experience in Eclipse is desired.
*Ability to work with a development team consisting of one or more subject matter experts in industry areas.
