Responsibilities:
This job supports the Reliability and Maintainability Information System
(REMIS). Proven ability to develop and maintain applications using JSP/Servlet
techniques, Struts, Enterprise Java Beans, WebSphere MQ, Web Services Oracle
Databases, IBM WebSphere Application Server hosted on Windows 2000 and Solaris
8, Rational Application Developer, Rational Unified Process (RUP), and Rational
ClearCase.
Requirements: Must
be U.S. citizen able to pass a National Agency Check. At least Twelve years of
progressively more demanding experience in application software development
environment using relational databases. Three years experience developing Object
Oriented applications. Primary experience with J2EE Java and secondary
experience with C++ is preferred. Experience with server side software in a
scaleable environment is a plus. Experience with Hewlett Packard NonStop Kernal
environments is a plus. Experience developing Java Stored Procedures for Oracle
9i and LINUX environments is also a plus. Two years of personal computer
experience using word processing programs (e.g. MS Word). Two years of technical
documentation preparation and maintenance/revision experience. (Required: 9
years intermediate level experience as a developer, 5 years expert level
experience with Java, and 3+ years intermediate level experience with J2EE (Java
2 Enterprise Edition), JSP (JavaServer Page). Preferred: 3 years intermediate
level experience with PL/SQL, AJAX, IBM MQ Series, _javascript_, Linux, Oracle
Database 9I, Rational ClearCase, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Solaris,
TANDEM)
Education: Bachelors
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Logistics, Engineering or Technical
disciplines; equivalent experience may be substituted for formal
education.
