IT-Lead Java Programmer
Salary: $70-90K
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a Lead Java Programmer as part of the e-Business org.
reporting to the Dev. Mgr. in a group of 10-12 dev. and will be working on
Internet Platforms and Portal components in a J2EE multi-tiered env.
JOB SKILLS
Lead tech. discussions and designs sessions
Lead junior dev. in their design and dev. tasks
Research new technology and dev. approaches
Ownership and Hands-on coding of core Platform components
Interface with Business to gather and analyze requirements
Support the QA team during Product Test phase
Interface with Program Mgrs. to deliver the product during Implementation
phase
Support Business during User Acceptance Test phase
Provide Level 3 support to troubleshoot Production problems
Make tech. presentations of system designs and architecture to external
groups
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a computer related field
7+ Years exp. Dev. software
Expert knowledge of object-oriented methodology and UML design
Expert knowledge of Java, J2EE, and Struts
Strong understanding of Internet concepts and techn., and MVC concepts
Exp. working in a UNIX and Solaris env.
Exp. working with SUN One, WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle in a Multi-Tiered
env.
Exp. in software dev. of Web applications using Eclipse, MVC, Java (J2EE
platform), JSP, Servlets, Struts, AJAX, JDBC, HTML, XML, CSS, JAXB, and
JavaScript
Exp. in software dev. using SOAP/Web Services/WS-I
Exp. w/Portal techn. (design, development, best practices)
Familiarity with Web application security issues and solutions
Exp. w/Single-sign on (SSO) techn.
Ability to Lead and Initiate
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exp. working within a Service-Oriented Architecture
Exp. with Enterprise Service Bus concepts and products
Understanding of Content mgmt. concepts and products
Exp. w/Java Server Faces (JSF)
Exp. w/IBM WebSphere Portal
Exp. w/Chordiant prod.
Exp. w/JSR-168/268, JSR-170 (JCR), WSRP
Exp. w/Spring Framework or other IOC/DI framework(s)
