Supply Dynamics, a leading raw material professional
services firm, is looking for an experienced developer to join its growing
team. This is a full time, non-consulting position in a stable, growing
company that is owned by a $2.2B, privately held metals company.
Responsibilities of Position:
Tasks:
1) Acting as development resource on new development efforts
or enhancements to existing applications
2) Perform duties in all aspects of the application
development lifecycle: requirements capturing/ documentation, system analysis
and design, application development, testing and support
4) Support source change management for all major
application releases
5) As directed, research on emerging technologies to support
current and future business needs
6) Application prototyping as needed

and develop new software modules to satisfy business needs
• Research
and report on new technologies to meet business requirements

existing software development efforts
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

• Working
knowledge and experience with Java (JDK and J2EE)

4 years professional application development experience
• Min.
2 year professional Web application development experience
• Solid
knowledge and experience with SQL and RDBMS concepts
• Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability
to work both independently and in teams
• US Citizenship
or green card holder
Preferred
• In-depth
experience with one major RDBMS
• Experience
with one major Java Web Application Server
• Experience
of component-based web application architecture
• Experience
in any of the following: JavaServer Faces, Tomcat, XML, MySQL
• Experience
with Linux/Unix
• Understanding/experience
of Windows Server and ASP.NET technology
• Experience
in aerospace industry, raw materials, and/or manufacturing
