network devices from bare-metal provisioning to policy-based change
management, compliance, and security administration. It manages
1000’s of devices from more than 35 vendors including Cisco, Foundry,
Juniper, Check Point, and Extreme.
As a member of the Network Automation Systems team, you will design, implement, unit-test, maintain and
document software; create installation packages for distribution of
software; design and develop robust, scalable, high-quality software ; and
work with Product Management, QA and Technical Support during the entire
product lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Masters in CS/EE with emphasis
on Software Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years experience developing
enterprise class applications using Java as the primary programming
language
- Minimum of 3 years experience using J2EE
(EJB, Servlets, JSP, RMI, JDBC, Application Servers) & JDBC
- Experience porting C/C++ applications across
various platforms
- Good background in TCP/IP networking
- Team player, good communication skills
PLUS POINTS:
- Experience developing software for network
management applications (device discovery, monitoring, configuration,
etc…)
- Experience with User Interfaces & design
for Usability - preferred
- Experience with UNIX (Solaris), Linux, NT
- Integration Experience with HP Open View,
CiscoWorks, Optivity, CA
Unicenter, Tivoli
…
- Knowledge of CLI and other forms of
configuration of network elements

System. The Engineer will build out User Interface Infrastructure
