HERE’S WHAT WE NEED…

 

The primary function of this Web Development team is to develop and maintain Java and ColdFusion applications that are used to support supply chain initiatives involving logistics systems.  This includes support for both purchased and custom applications. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support all phases of web-based application projects.  This may include design, estimating, development, deployment and support

Create and maintain Java applications

Create and maintain technical system documentation

Research and respond to system support inquiries and issues from customers

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Strong Structured Query Language skills are required

Experience with relational databases is required

Knowledge of Perl and Visual Basic is preferred

Knowledge of web-based J2EE architectures and tools is required

Experience programming in HTML and Java is required

Experience with Struts, Spring and Hibernate is preferred

Experience with implementing SiteMinder is desirable

Experience with CVS and JBoss is desirable

Knowledge of software development lifecycles and RUP methodology preferred.

Must be proficient at oral communication and technical writing skills

Demonstrated problem solving, organizational and time management skills
