Job Requirements/Knowledge:
• Solid technical background:
. Minimum of 10 years of development experience
. Minimum of 7 years of Java development experience, with an in-depth knowledge of J2EE
(JSP, Servlet, JMS, EJB) and Swing.
. Experience with following is required:
• Web Service development
• Struts/MVC framework
• Hibernate/DAO framework
• Log4j framework
• Extensive OOAD knowledge
o UML is a plus
o Experience with following is a plus:
• JNI
• Java Server Faces
• ANT Scripting tool
• IBM Websphere Application Server
• IBM RAD Development Environment.
• JBuilder Development Environment.
• Knowledge of Agile/Extreme programming practice.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• An attitude of positive determination, teamwork and accountability
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is preferred.
• Healthcare experience (has worked in a hospital or for a vendor that delivered products/services to hospitals) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time
