Development Engineer

Description

The development engineer will work on a team building commercial software in the enterprise management space.  The developer will be responsible for creating multiple components of the software package.  Responsibilities will include component design, coding, unit testing, and debugging during integration/system test.

 

Required Skills

2+ years of experience developing in C++ and/or Java

Recent experience in a team development environment

Make and/or ANT build environments

CVS source control

Effective communication and documentation skills

Desired Skills

Experience with Linux (RedHat Enterprise, SuSE) and/or UNIX (Solaris, HPUX, AIX)

Experience with Windows 2000 and 2003

Knowledge of VMWare and Virtual PC

Web application development
