Qualifications
of successful candidate: The successful candidate will
understand how to create and apply Java based technological innovations to
solve complex, web-based, marketing challenges on several of America’s
top Fortune 100 companies. This person must be able to work in dynamic,
fast-paced teams consisting of other marketing experts in design, copy and
account positions.
The successful
candidate will be required to provide innovative solutions using a variety of
cutting edge technologies such as AJAX/FJAX, Java web services, DHTML,
_javascript_ and Flash.
Minimum
Position Requirements:
- College degree
in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least one
year practical experience using the Java Programming language to program
web applications.
- Experience in
programming web applications using the following technologies and
frameworks is a must: JSP, Struts, JDBC and Java Web Services.
- At least one
year practical experience using HTML and _javascript_ to create web sites.
Ideal
Candidate will possess the following:
- Ability to
work with limited supervision in a team environment
- Strong
analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective oral
and written communication skills
- Experiencing
using any SQL compliant database software.
- Web
development skills: AJAX,
DHTML, and CSS
Additional
preference to candidates who possess experience with the following software:
MySQL, Oracle,
MS-SQL, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, ANT, J2EE, PHP, Perl, Flash and Linux/Unix
Previous
advertising/interactive marketing experience is also a plus.
All candidates must
possess a bachelor’s of science degree and be authorized to work in the United
States. Candidates local to the Cincinnati
area are preferred, as no relocation assistance is offered for this position.
