UniRush is provider of RushCard debit card services.  UniRush, a joint venture between a well-established marketing distribution company and a leader in subprime and distressed consumer debt, has made great inroads in marketing and promoting products to deliver a broad array of financial services and related products to individuals who are not well served by traditional banks and other institutions.  Combining the resources of each company in this joint venture has allowed the company to effectively identify market and deliver compelling, user-friendly financial products and develop long-lasting relationships with its customers. 

 

The company is in a growth mode and is seeking an Application Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience with custom application/database development and support.  You must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have a strong business acumen. 

 

Key tasks will be to support existing mix of applications and create new software applications for business use.  Proven knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle is required.

 

Technical Skills Requirement

 

·        Application Development Skills: 

o       Object Oriented Programming – 3 years.

o       Multi-tiered development – 3 years.

o       Experience with Linux/UNIX environment - 1 year.

o       Programming in J2EE – 3 years.

 

·        Database Skills:

o       Relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and SQL programming – 3 years.

 

·        Application Development Skills (Preferred):

o        .Net

o        Perl

o        Web application architecture using Apache and Tomcat

o        Webservices
