Application Developer/Technical Analyst:
As a Application Developer/Technical Analyst, you continue to develop
expertise in program development and unit testing, while actively
participating in the delivery of technical and business solutions. You are
responsible for technical component delivery and play a more prominent role
in developing business processes. In addition, you assume responsibility
for testing the application code from a technical perspective to verify
that programs follow standards and meet technical specifications. At this
point in your career, you actively participate in work groups and work
sessions with business and technical consultants. In this role, you should
capitalize on opportunities to broaden your management, technical, and
methodology skills while starting to emerge as a key player within the
technical path.
As an Application Developer/Technical Analyst
· 2-6 years Java/J2EE and/or .NET development experience, including
some or all of the following:
JSP
EJB
Java Classes
JDBC
Struts
Session and Entity Beans
JMS
JNDI
· Must have experience with at one automated testing tool
· Must be experienced with using object oriented design and development
methods / techniques
· Must have a proven track record of implementation
· Must be able to build strong client relationships
· Strong communications skills
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Strong written and verbal skills
o Must be able to discuss technology with IT executives
o Must be able to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and
issues with peers and IT management
· Has significant experience with one of more of the following vendor
implementations:
IBM WebSphere
BEA WebLogic
SunOne
· Must be willing to proactively identify and contribute reusable
assets
· Certifications are a plus
· Experience in working with off-shore teams is a plus.
· 100% Travel commitment
